From the outstanding 2021 vintage with distinct variety definition, vibrant fruit with a consistent balance. A dry Summer and Autumn, the favoured conditons during growing season have been ideal with cool nights and mild days, promoting long, even ripening and extended flavour development. The reds from the Barossa region during this vintage possess incredible flavour concentration, natural high acidity and superb structure and balance.
Fermentation: The fruit was picked in the early morning, de stemmed and underwent a controlled fermentation on skins for 6-12 days Ageing: The wine was gently pressed off skins into seasoned French oak casks for 10 months, ensuring the fruit and vineyard characters were able to shine through.
