Cellar Door FAQ

Are booking required at the Cellar Door?

Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment. Please book online or call our friendly team so we can provide our best service.

Is there a charge for your Cellar Door tastings?

Yes, our wine tastings are paid experiences ranging from $45 to $175 per head. These per head charges are redeemable upon the purchase of a certain quantity of wine per head.

How long does a wine tasting take and how much timeshould I allow?

Wine tasting experiences in our Cellar Door take at least 60 minutes, but most guests would be best placed to allow 90 minutes.

Can we purchase lunch/cheese boards?

Sadly no, our Cellar Door provides a wine focused experience and does not have an orderable food menu.

Can we bring our dog?

We love our furry friends and although we’re unable to allow them indoors at the Cellar Door, we have a very limited amount of veranda seating where they are welcome to join you. These tables must be especially booked in advance, so please call us to make this special booking request.

Can we bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawns?

Unfortunately, our grounds are unable to be used for picnicking or the consumption of external food.

How large a group can you accommodate?

Our 1840’s Cottage is a very intimate heritage space and because of this and our unique table service we are unable to welcome groups larger than 6 guests. Tables of this size are very limited, so please ensure to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Are you child friendly?

Due to its style and format, our Restaurant is an adult-only experience, however children may join their parents while attending the Cellar Door.

Do I need to book seats at the table for my children?

Yes, when making a booking, please ensure to count them as attending guests so we can allocate a table and seating that is appropriate for your group.
